Setup Guide

Follow these steps to get License360 running in your Power BI workspace.

Install from Microsoft AppSource

Search for "License360 by Onelytix" in Microsoft AppSource. Click "Get it now" to install the semantic model and report template to your Power BI workspace.

Create App Registration in Azure AD

In Onelytix Admin, navigate to your tenant and click "Add App Registration". We'll guide you through creating an App Registration in your Azure AD with the correct permissions.

Admin consent required: An Azure AD administrator must grant consent for this permission. We provide a consent URL in the setup wizard.

Enter Your API Key in Power BI

Copy your Onelytix API key from the Admin portal. In Power BI, open the semantic model settings and enter the API key as a parameter. The model will connect to our API to fetch your license data.

Refresh and Analyze

Click refresh to pull your license data. The dashboard will populate with your current license inventory across all connected tenants. Set up scheduled refresh to keep data current.
