Setup Guide

Follow these steps to get Billing360 running in your Power BI workspace.

Install from Microsoft AppSource

Search for "Billing360 by Onelytix" in Microsoft AppSource. Click "Get it now" to install the semantic model and report template to your Power BI workspace.

Assign Billing Reader Role

Azure Billing uses RBAC roles instead of App Registrations. Assign the Billing Reader role to a service principal at the Billing Account or Subscription level.

Azure Cost Management API: Billing360 uses the Azure Cost Management API to retrieve cost and usage data. This requires the Billing Reader role.

Enter Your API Key in Power BI

Copy your Onelytix API key from the Admin portal. In Power BI, open the semantic model settings and enter the API key as a parameter.

Refresh and Analyze

Click refresh to pull your billing data. The dashboard will populate with your Azure costs across all connected subscriptions and tenants.
